Our Fifth Annual Fundraiser was held on April 8, 2016
The 3rd "Wine Tasting" at the Trenton Country Club was once again successful! Over 150 people attended, sampling more than 100 wines from West Trenton Liquors. We enjoyed a delightful arrangement of food from Comfort Food, Concerto Fusion, and Non Solo Pasta.
Thirteen campers were in attendance, 3 staff and 10 family members.
Many campers spoke about their week at camp and the many monthly gatherings they have participated in. Most agree, their favorite trip is to New York city for Christmas.
The Live Auction of 15 Flea Market birdhouses transformed by many local artists was once again a huge success. We are very grateful to the many people that surround us and give of their time and energy to our mission!
We also auctioned off vacation homes in Spain and Scotland, generously donated by Gerry Allen and John McFadden. The drawing of our Raffle Tickets for Manhattan and Long Beach Island was also exciting - and all winners were present!
This special evening was full of positive energy from the campers, their families, artists, volunteers and the staff of the Trenton Country Club. We are ever grateful for the many supporters who filled the room with their full hearts and giving spirit.
'Third Annual' Fundraiser was held on April 4, 2014
The "Wine & Chocolate Tasting" at the Trenton Country Club was a HUGE success!! Many commented, "the best one yet". We had over 170 attendees who delighted in sampling 140+ wines from West Trenton Liquors, ate scrumptious food from Non Solo Pasta, heard the beautiful voices of Kris and Ariana Ballerini, and busted a few moves on the dance floor.
We had seven campers in attendance, 3 staff and 13 family members. Many spoke of the positive skills learned, a willingness to try new things and an opportunity to experience new places. A camper's mother felt compelled to speak to the crowd about her child's enthusiasm for attending a camp where he knew no one, and how he looks forward to and thrives at the monthly gatherings.
The Live Auction of 13 Flea Market trays transformed by regional artists was a very lively time. We sold these beautiful works of art for over $2500 collectively. Thanks to the many artists who gave their time and talent to our cause!
The luxurious African Safari was won by three excited couples. Our Newport and Manhattan Raffle Ticket winners were also in attendance. The campers enthusiastically helped facilitate the Live Auction and Raffle Ticket drawings.
A Personal Thanks to all who attended and helped make our night so very special. And much gratitude to the volunteer committee for a wonderful event.
The Music Gallop Fest in October 2011, was a Wondrous Event!
The goal of the Music Gallop Fest was to Connect Communities through Music. We achieved this by promoting our shared values and celebrating our diversity through beautiful melodies.
We enjoyed phenomenal musical talent: high school drummers, a teen rap/dance team, singer/songwriters, jazz, gospel, poetry readings, flamenco music/dancer and rock and roll. There was a nice selection of craft vendors in attendance as well as delicious food vendors.
We will hold another Music Gallop Fest in the future.
Our Fourth Annual Fundraiser was held on March 6, 2015
The 2nd "Wine Tasting" at the Trenton Country Club was once again an ENORMOUS success! Over 180 people attended, sampling many wines from West Trenton Liquors. An array of delicious foods were served from Comfort Food, Concerto Fusion, Non Solo Pasta, and Winckler's Ribs.
Ten campers were in attendance, 2 staff and 11 family members. We shared a video of a compilation of camp days along with a song we co-wrote with Philly's own Ben Arnold. "A Vulture on the Roof"...an actual vulture landed on a nearby roof while Ben was talking about making music...it was hilarious! "There was a vulture on the roof, running free, running loose, looking for me, looking for you, there was a vulture on the roof."
The Live Auction of 22 Flea Market chairs transformed by many local artists was once again a fun time. We are very grateful to the many people that surround us and give of their time and energy to our mission!

It is hard to express the gratitude we feel for our attendees, artists, and volunteers. Our camp family is moved beyond mere words and will remember these times always.
'Second Annual' Artist Round-Up was held in October 2012.
Our second fundraiser was a great success! Over 150 people attended and enjoyed an evening of art, local auction items, food and music. We had six campers in attendance, and they shared their camp experiences with us.
We also had 12 artist rendered stools for our Live Auction: Giving Kids "A Step up on the Ladder of Life". Check out our Facebook page and see more fantastic pictures.

'First Annual' Artist Round-Up was held in March 2011
Our first ever fundraiser was an overwhelming success with over 220 participants! We enjoyed a lovely evening bidding on the beautiful works of 46 regional artists. Marilyn Honig was our featured artist, a woman I met in a cafe in Manhattan - willing to donate her farm for our first week of camp in July.
We had a very 'lively' Live Auction of artist rendered cowboy hats, of which many attendees wore their hat the remainder of the evening.
